A tremendous 5-star short break.  Swift Nick Cottage was the perfect luxury getaway for our family.  The amenities were excellent, but what really impressed was the attention to detail - from the flowers on arrival and the fresh scones to the personal visit by Jessica to make sure we had settled in.  Thank you for a memorable time and your great customer care.  We will certainly be returning.

Our third visit but 1st Christmas, the cottage was beautifully decorated and the extra's made it feel so special.  Even though the weather was not always as you would have wished, we managed to get lots of walks in.  The tea shops right across the Moor's and Dales were all fantastic and we ate well where ever we went.  Highlights were New Year's Eve in Helmsley and we recommend The Crosby for excellent food and great choice of beers.  See you again in 2012.

We've had another fabulous week at Thief Hole Cottages.  The Barn is superb and we all love the location - best of all the view!  Thank you again for a brilliant welcome pack.  There's a great circular walk down through the village and around all of the fields leading back to Thief Hole.  Eden Camp is also well worth a visit, we loved Betty's in Harrogate and recommend The Kings Arms in Sandhutton for a very good meal.  Many best wishes Jessica.

Had a fantastic holiday here at Thief Hole Barn!  The cottage is fantastic, everything meets your requirements and more, especially all the little personal touches!  My little boy loved the basket of toys, books etc.. also the magazine in the welcome pack which was great - everything you could possibly want!  Accommodation was very very comfortable again with everything catered for!  We were also blown away with the scenery around and about.  A lot of time spent gazing at the landscape1  We will make a point of coming back hopefully very soon!

A wonderful week in the North Yorkshire Moors enjoying the heath clad hills.  We had some marvellous walks and it was enjoyable to return to this fantastic property to relax and use the facilities.  All of us loved the fact that we could walk down the field to Woody's Restaurant and indulge ourselves in pints of beer and good food.  The welcome pack was greatly appreciated as was the children's play area and excellent parking.  The children were entertained by the basket of toys.  The kitchen was extremely well equipped and the best that we have stayed in so far!  The knives were actually sharp and the saucepans matched!  Thank you for a lovely week, what a fabulous view over the Vale of York to Wensleydale, appreciated every night!

The three brothers Oram, with their long suffering wives had a reunion after 29 years and what a venue for the event!  This cottage is undoubtedly one of the nicest holiday lets any of us have ever undertaken.  Extremely well equipped, wonderful welcome pack and comprehensive information.  The location for access to the Dales and Moors could not be better and with the Black Swan pub (a great pub) just minutes away.  Thanks Jessica we are totally satisfied and have no complaints, we can honestly say our expectations were more than matched, hopefully we will see you again. Firstly I would like to state the obvious - Absolutely beautiful cottage!  Myself and Hana are support workers taking a lady with learning disabilities and who is also sight and hearing impaired.  The cottage was well equipped for her every need.  She thoroughly enjoyed herself and so did we!  I like that you had everything we could think of from kitchen utensils to the bathrooms and your sos bow came in handy.  Definitely home from home and i'd never thought i'd be saying I want another week at work....but I do!  Will be back on a non working holiday soon!  Thank you for a relaxing, hassle free holiday..Kelly, May 2011

We arrived on Friday 13th and walked into Swift Nick Cottage - what a surprise - how emotional - 40th wedding anniversary balloons, banners, flowers and more.  Our family took over the cottages, our four youngsters and their husbands, wife, partners and two grandchildren.  On Saturday six very close friends arrived.  The 14th was the date of the celebration.  We were booked into the function room at the Crosby Pub and Chris and Moira looked after us superbly.  As to these cottages everyone was so impressed - the standard of furnishings etc... are excellent and you so deserve your latest award.  Thank you for making it such a memorable and wonderful occasion for us all.  We have had so much fun and will remember it for years to come..Mr and Mrs Tweddle, May 2011

Absolutley fabulous cottage. The best we have ever stayed in by far. Really appreciated the welcome pack (especially the champagne) it was very thoughtful. Loved the views and listening to the black birds. Just a pity about the weather, but despite this we had a great time for my first time in Yorkshire. Just as good as last year! Another enjoyable stay. Very impressive facilities and the special welcome pack was very much appreciated. There really is no substitute for champagne! A lot of thought has obviously been given to the needs of the disabled guests. The wet room with pull - down seat was a great plus for my mother! Had a very good meal at the Golden Fleece Hotel over looking the square in Thirsk. All in all the best accommodation in a very beautiful part of Britian - we enjoyed the memorable stay and will recommend to friends and family.

We have had a fantastic holiday. The weather has been very kind to us and we felt more than at home in this lovely cottage which we'd definitely recommend to friends. Highlights have been trips to York, Harrogate, RHS Harlow Carr, Fountains Abbey, Helmsley. We can recommend Tee Hee Cafe in Easington, Betty's tea rooms in Northallerton and enjoyed beautiful walks in the Dales from Aysgarth Falls to Kettleswell. A good time had by all!
